Optometry

ASSALAMUALAIKUM,

Today topic is ‘Optometry ehh?’

Most of the reaction that i get are like, “eh course ape tu?” or “ouh nnti you jadi doctor mata la nie kan?” or ‘ohhh yg pasal mata2x tu ker?’

Nope, nope and nope. So basicly ape tuh optometry?

So based on Wikipedia, “Optometry is a healthcare profession concerned with the eyes and related structures, as well as vision, visual systems, and vision information processing in humans.” Ala-ala doctor mata la tp bkn doctor, ada fhm? Okay orang yang ambil bidang optometry nie akan digelar sbgi optometrist. Optometrist itu apa pulak hmmm? “Optometrists (also known as ophthalmic opticians outside the United States and Canada) are trained to prescribe and fit lenses to improve vision, and in some countries are trained to diagnose and treat various eye diseases.” –based on Wikipedia.

Fyi, optometry nie x femes macam course2x medic, engineer and etc. So there are only seven universities in Malaysia that offer this course. Antaranya ialah 3 IPTA (UKM, UIA, UiTM) dan 4 IPTS (Twintech, SEGI College, Tun Hussein Onn Eye Hospital, MSU.  And I am currently in my first year taking my degree in optometry at MANAGEMENT & SCIENCE UNIVERSITY (MSU). Disappointment

My parents disappointment still haunts me. I knew for the fact that deep down inside their heart they still felt disappointed about my grades. Yeah, i didn't get high pointer to get the course I wanted. I want to be a dentist but it is impossible for me and i ruined my second chance. I failed to get into ITB through their examination. Im sorry for everything mom . It broke my heart to see her sad . IM SORRY FOR EVERYTHING. 

The Beginning

It's hardly to think that now i'm in the verge of getting old. Yes, years by years we are not getting young but in fact the opposite, now to think that it's felt just like yesterday that im having my graduation day, laughing with my friends, gossiping with them, playing in the back of the class while our teacher is teaching . Yes, I'm totes missing my school life. Never had i forget about my school life, it's basicly the very best memories i had ever installed and saved in my mind. One thing that maybe i really regretted till now is not really getting social with my friends, i should be more active back then and enjoy having many friends. Yup, im totally regretting that. Now to think that i'm going to be an adult, it's kinda scared me as i thought that maybe im not fitted to be an adult yet, i still want to be a child that getting pampered by my parents. What can i do about it? I'm a mommy's child after all. Then, i just graduated from matriculation 2 months ago, in fact, i should advised all my juniors, don't get in the matric if you cannot focus in study or still wants to play around because i must say that matriculation is tough if you are not focus in studying or you are lazy to study. You will be wasting one year in matriculation and end up getting poor result as in low cgpa. Low cgpa means you will get the course that you do not want. one more thing you should never have a lover, it will only distract you and waste your time, Yes, its true having someone that loved you is making you feel happy but think back again, dont you have family that also love you? You should think that your family really loves you and in fact they really put high hopes in you. You shouldn't destroyed their hopes and trust. Dont be like me, i already destroyed my parents hopes. Im regretting the things i had done before but now im making up for it. 21 June is my entrance exam and 23 June will be my interview. If I pass both , i will get into Institut Teknologi Bandung INDONESIA, in pharmacy course. Then, i promise i will study hard  , very hard to make up for all the things i had done before. and it's the beginning of my journey. wish me luck peeps ! now if you excuse me i have something to revise, Toodles ~
